good news

Well we had our sonogram yesterday and saw very clearly that we are going to have a beautiful bouncing boy! Oh my gosh this house is going to be a crazy monkey house. Boys boys and more boys for my little wife to keep track off. We have dicided to name him Joshua Robert. The middle name was my grandfathers who we lost in 2000 and was a big part of my growing up and adult years. We are very happy that this child appears to be healthy and in good working order. It is going to be easy for us as all Alex's infant clothes will work and A bunk bed for the two of them will be in the works soon. Now I need to confer with my cousin Andrew on the parenting methods of bringing up two boys at the same time!

Oct 2004

I can't believe how much my little buddy has grow up. This is a pic. of him when he was only about 3weeks old in his first holloween costume. So so tiny! This year he has a girrafe costume that he may or my not wear as now he is more opinionated then before. I can remember lifting him up with the greatest of ease but now is a different story indeed.

Brrrr

The last couple of days have been chilly! Highs only in the low 50's and I don't think it got above 50 yesterday. I let Alex wear his blanket sleeper today as it seemed cool dowstairs. The leaves on the trees now are about half gone but they are a brilliant color and nice to look at out of our bay window. I have to get some pics of Alex in the leaves this week before they are gone and also a pumkin pic would be nice as well. My friends blog "inside fatherhood" has asked for pics and their kids in the pumkin patch. I am so slow but not late.

New Baby

OK sorry to all those people that I neglected to tell about our new arrival this March. I found out from my sister that people actually ( namely my aunt Pat) read my Blog and all this time I thought I was the only one who read it. So it is official we are having a new baby come into our lives this spring and be it a boy or a girl we are very happy to be blessed with another. Emilynda says this is the last one for awhile as she has been sicker with this one as opposed to our Alex. We go for our sonogram this Thursday and we will know the sex then as we can't wait till the birth. We are currently 18 weeks into this pregnancy so our litte person is now a mere 6inches long. Sorry again to all those we havn't told yet and please forgive us.

Fall has arrived

Got down to 35 lastnight and we built our first fire in our new home. Alex was screeming with joy as he watched me build the fire and pointed in glee. Another new experience for him is fire and now has a good respect for it. The deer in our back yard are also in the fall mood as three males were rutting like crazy. I could see them in the woods over our fence as I know better to get close to a male durring this time of season. And with that I need to get my bow in hand and get one to thin the heard as there are too many around here. A couple die every year durring the winter as there is not enough food for them and they simply starve to death. A nice fall fat one would feed us all winter. Yum!
Alex had a great second birthday and it was great to have his grandma here to celebrate it with him. Lots of little kiddos and food for the big day and here is a pic of the Birthday boy and his cake which was made by his grandma. Alex and her seemed to bond a bit and that was fun to see. His grandma will come again this spring for the arrival of our new baby in March.
