Well we have been back for a week now and all is well. Fun to go away but also fun to be back and that is the mark of a good time. We drove nearly 3000 miles all total and with a 2.5yr old and 5yr old in tow in a corolla not to bad. They had their moments but so did I as did the wify. Highlights from the trip was toe man at one of the motel stays and the fish Natzi in Bayfield.
Fish Natzi= What will you have? a second later= Sooo what will you have?! Make up your mind as I have lots of shit to do!!!! The look on her weathered face seemed to suggest...We ordered our smoked white fish and got out of there for fear of us being smoked as well. Had fun times on the big lake and with Mom and Paul sharing there summer home. Grandma turned 70 and that is hard to believe but very much the active lady as she has always been. We took lots of pictures and even traveled to Duluth for a day and watched a big boat come trough the harbor. We can't wait to get back next year and maybe a family reunion in the works.
