Cold is the word of late and so we are stuck in the house most of the time. We have watched Cars for the billionth time and I am getting a bit nutty over it. So what to do what to do? We have been to the mall, played with all of his toys, even gone to the grocery store for one item just to get out. Sure we could just go to the park anyway but getting him all bundeled up and out the door to just freeze anyway is not very appealing. For the life of me I can't seem to get a clue as what to do beside the same old same old. I need help people so give me some inside ideas for a 2.5 year old please before I flip out. I know we can fold laundry together for kicks!! not! Is mommy almost home yet? HELP! Here is a new pic for ya.Great Falls - The spout

Boredom has reared it's ugly head

Dad center magazine
I reciently started to write for an online magazine called Dadcenter
The online magazine is operated by a friend of mine that runs the on line site Dad Stays Home. It has been a fun project for me so check it out and read some of the fine work us dads have written.

Clemyjontri

The name is pronounced (Clem-mee-JOHN-tree) This is a great park to go and has been a secret of mine up untill now that the Washington post did a story of it on the front page of their metro section. It was moderatly busy during the week but much busier during the weekends. And now this artical has come out and I'm sure every tom Dick and Harry will be there to see it for them selves. I like to share but I hate a mob crowd. We had gone long before the crowds and here are a few choice pics of Alexander injoying the 2 acre play ground. So much to do and see.

High risks
Being a stay at home dad has its inherent risks such as out of control poop, crabby toddlers, late dinners ect. But these risks are mild in comparison to the health risks of being a stay at home dad. This prediction according to an article reviewed by a friend of mine over at inside fatherhood. fatherhood blog Well I am unfortunately at this risk as my cholesterol is at 500+ and my triglycerides at 1600+ . So now I am back to a regular exercise schedule and watching what I put in my stomach. Wish me luck everyone and I have a follow up in 6 weeks.
