YES
We sold our house and a daddy dance is in order! Now we can look forward to a bigger home and a new life. Finally we don't have to keep the place clean as we have a buyer and can start to pack our stuff. Still have to get through the home inspection and other paperwork but it is headed in the right direction. I feel now that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Selling a home is such a pain but it is worth the effort in the end like most things in life.

Home Drama
We finally have a good offer for our home. We have been dealing with this since mid January and it has been a pain do to keeping the house clean and Alex happy. The new home is roomy and beautiful and we are so exited to be so close to our dream. I will have to be at the top of my game to keep the new place clean and all the inhabitance happy. That's my job though and looking forward to the change and more room. Alex will now have a nice yard to play in and plenty of nearby woods for wildlife interaction.

Down time
Many people would consider working on finishing out a basement as real work but to me it is a blissful release from the stay at home lifestyle. I am always surprised that I feel so free of worry and stress when working on a project like that. I love being with Alex and would not trade it for anything but the weight it has on me is always surprising. I get one more day of trim work before my real job starts again on Monday with my favorite little buddy and pal in die-pees.

Tantrum = Beer
Today is St. Patrick's day and being that my name is Patrick I should formally celebrate it. I plan to have a beer at lunch today in honor of the Blessed St. Patrick who graced our world so many years ago. But also I need that beer as my little lovable Alex has been quite the opposite as of late. Tantrums have arrived with a vengeance and any little mishap that he has sends him into a little raging being. I have been told many times by experienced parents that not tending to his rages will curb them in the future but I am at the end of my wits at times and it takes every ounce of my energy to stay the course so to speak. Good! It's almost lunch time and my cold brew is waiting. The little one is napping so I'm hoping that he will be in a good mood. Happy St. Patricks day and be safe all.

I'm Back if anyone cares!
Our Vacation was great but it is always good to be home again. It was back to the ratrace for Emilynda and Alex had a mild case of mommy withdrawal after having her attention 24/7 for two weeks. The weather today was 80 and sunny so spring has sprung. Have lots of plans for this weekend for work that is so a nice break for the Dad of the house. Also we are trying to move to a larger home and more on that later.
